House of James Expands into Honduras

There are over 170,000 children in Honduras who are in need of a safe and stable home—and we now have a clear path to begin meeting that need.

Land has already been secured where we can build multiple House of James homes. Each home is designed to care for approximately 10 children, providing a place of safety, stability, and belonging.

The cost to fully build one home is approximately $60,000—just $6,000 per child to provide a safe, loving home for life.

In addition to construction, each home requires ongoing monthly support of about $4,500. This covers everything needed to care for the children well, including food, caregivers, schooling, utilities, transportation, clothing, medical care, and overall maintenance.

A Meaningful Opportunity to Make an Impact

There are several ways individuals, families, businesses, and churches can be part of this life-changing work.

A home can be fully funded by:

  • An individual or family
  • A business or church
  • Or a group of partners coming together

When a home is sponsored, it can reflect the name of that family, church, or organization—or be dedicated in honor or memory of someone special. This creates a lasting legacy that extends far beyond a single gift.

For many, this also brings a meaningful sense of connection and ownership—knowing they played a direct role in providing a safe, loving home for children in need.

Those who partner in funding a home will also have opportunities to visit over time, receive updates, and see firsthand the lives being impacted.
